Meet “Echo”! A handsome 2025 Gypsy Vanner c**t foaled in September, he’s sired by GG Latcho’s Mighty King, out of GG Esme Zion, a daughter of GG The Walker Horse, aka Fred.

Echo is super sweet and friendly, and loves people. He has some outstanding genetics, including two crosses to The Gypsy King, two to Latcho Drom, as well as The Lion King, The King’s Good Friday, Thomas Bay, and The Lottery Horse.

Echo is PSSM1 negative by parentage, and is sure to grow into something special with his impressive bloodlines. He could be the next best thing to happen to your farm!

Beautiful Drogheda Que Sera Sera aka Sapphire is one of the three horses that we sold to Ecuardor. This beauty is having fun and doing some learning with one of her trainers. Sapphire is a daughter of VV King William and GG Queenie's Legend, and she is a big girl! We are so glad to see the horses thriving in their new home.

We are in love with this photo of GG The Walker Horse aka "Fred" taken by the talented Nancy Mitchell! This photo shows just a bit of Fred's raw power and strength, along with his beauty and elegance. Fred is the youngest son of The Gypsy King and is doing a wonderful job carrying on his sire's legacy. Fred's dam GG Fred Walker is by Latcho Drom, and Fred sure got some of Latcho's hair genes! Fred's great grandsire is The Lion King, owned by Fred Walker, where both Fred and his dam got their names from.

This amazing stallion has proven to be an outstanding sire - we have retained his oldest daughter GG Ooh La La and her first foal!

Like all of our stallions, Fred is PSSM1 negative. He is heterozygous tobiano and stands 15hh. He is available to mares registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse society - please contact Dennis at 352-817-1777 for more information.

We would like to wish the Happiest of birthdays to GG Kiss Me Kate! Kate, owned by Samantha Hull-Crook, turns 13 years old today. Kate was born right here at Gypsy Gold, part of VV King William's second foal crop, and the first foal for her dam GG Velvet Doll. Who know that fuzzy, adorable foal would become such an iconic part of Gypsy Vanner history? Kate has so many wins and accolades it is hard to keep track of, but among them are:

GVHS Hall of Fame Horse
4x NATIONAL Supreme Champion horse. No other horse has ever won more than twice, no other mare more than once.
56x total Supreme Championships during her show career

The horses we shipped to Ecuardor recently are doing fantastic! We received some videos of them and thought we would share. Pictured here is gelding Drogheda Legend of Caymus - a son of Caymus and grandson of Latcho Drom. He is doing a great job learning western after doing some dressage here in the US. We love to see updates on our horses!
