Community Action to Save Strays (CATSS) A Trap-Neuter-Return organization in Oberlin that also finds homes for friendly stray cats & kittens

CATSS currently serves the city of Oberlin, Ohio and clients living within the Oberlin City Schools District. CATSS has been extremely successful in reducing the cat population in Oberlin. However, many of the calls we receive come from the communities of Lorain, Elyria, and Wellington. We do not currently have the resources to serve these areas. Please understand that we cannot assist individuals or cats outside of our defined territory.

Foster parents are the ultimate authority on cat personalities. After all, they are the ones that know their "wards" likes and dislikes. So, here's an update on the delightful Emma and Ella who are both looking for permanent homes.
"Happy to give you an update! They're adjusting well. They are both super playful they love to be pet. Emma the Tabby is a lil more adventurous, while Ella is still a little timid. But both of them are friendly and loving and seem to be coming along well. "

Help! This beautiful feral mama needs a barn home!

Yesterday, a worker at the Oberlin landfill finally trapped Sweetie after two months of trying. She is the mom of this year’s B litter, who we were able to scoop up and adopt out, but Sweetie took a while longer. That’s because while she’s learned to rely on people for food, she doesn’t much like them!

Sweetie does not seem interested in a life close to humans, but a landfill is a dangerous place for a cat. We are looking for a safe barn home to relocate her to by 7/10. Sweetie is fixed, vaccinated against rabies, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you or someone you know is interested please reach out to [email protected].
