We’re excited to officially welcome Kyrsten Sanders and her Gypsy Vanners to the Red Crest Ranch crew!

Kyrsten brings a genuine love for the breed, a keen eye for quality, and a strong foundation that fits right in with our program. She’ll be stepping into the world of reining and expanding her skills in the ranch division. We’re glad to have her on board and excited to see what we’ll build together!

As we move into show season and everyone begins to shake off the winter dust, I’m thrilled to announce some exciting updates that have been quietly in the works over the past year! Many of you whom we've spoken with are already aware of the significant transitions we’ve been navigating over the last several months. Feathered Meadows Gypsy’s has been in the process of relocating and merging operations with Red Crest Ranch. While we were previously based in Gallipolis, Ohio, we are now transitioning to Oberlin, Ohio. Several horses will remain in Gallipolis for the time being, while our show horses are settled into their new home in Oberlin. With that said, we’re proud to share that we’ve expanded under direction!

Many of you met Ciara Lawson during our 2023 GVHS show season, where she rode and assisted in the training of the 2017 GVHS mare, Feathered Meadows Legacy. Ciara has been competing with high-level show horses in the non-pro division since she was four years old, eventually discovering a deep passion for the reining & ranch industry. She brings experience from a wide range of disciplines and breeds, reflecting a true horseman’s love for the entire equine world. Over the past year, she has been developing her own program under the Red Crest Ranch name, expanding in new directions with both showing and hobby breeding.
While still proudly competing as a non-pros, we are thoughtfully building a program that may grow to serve others in time.
As we combine our two programs and move forward together, we hope you’ll follow along and stay tuned for the exciting things we’ll be sharing this season!
