Dr. Vricella recently spoke to a group of children about veterinary medicine. Big thanks to Smelly Cat Rescue for lending the kittens! It's always fun to see children excited about animals and learning.

Thank you to Bryan Road Animal Hospital for visiting our summer campers! Dr. Vricella, an OakHaven mom and owner of the hospital, brought kittens to meet the children and shared so much about her work as a veterinarian. The students explored lab equipment, test tubes, x-rays, and even used stethoscopes to listen to a kitten’s heartbeat.

We love having community helpers visit and share their work and passions with our students. Thank you, Dr. Vricella, for this special hands-on learning experience!
