Norwich Bully Busters A (501)c3 Non-Profit Group for Youth Based Out of Norwich, CT

We are the Bully-Busters, and we are working to stop bullies. We will educate you on the "Bullying Prevention Law" and local school policies on bullying. In addition to preventing violence in schools, we work towards providing the community with fun, interactive programs for youth in and around the City of Norwich.

Today at the Norwich Bully Busters and Norwich Youth, Family & Recreation Services Summer Jam Program, a youth favorite was featured. They consistently enjoy visits from our community partner, Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue. The children gained valuable knowledge about dog care. Our youth presented them and dog approved their dog toys they made. We love and support our rescues .

The Norwich Bully Busters and Norwich Youth, Family & Recreation Services Summer Jam Program had a productive day. Our youth engaged in STEM activities using dominos. They demonstrated creativity using air dry clay. They crafted dog toys for a local dog rescue. Additionally, they prepared lunch with Chef Crystal Roman from Whisk Together Catering, consisting of mango barbecued chicken, corn on the cob, and salad.

Today our youth prepared cookies for members of the Norwich Police Department as a gesture of appreciation. They were in the garden selecting herbs for use in our kitchen. The Norwich Bully Busters and Norwich Youth, Family & Recreation Services Summer Jam Program would like to extend their gratitude to Justin Burrows, owner of La Stella Pizzeria, for generously donating lunch yesterday, which included pizza, pasta, and salad. Despite being unable to attend due to illness, Mr. Burrows ensured that our youth were provided with lunch. Additionally, our youth were joined for lunch by Norwich Public Schools Superintendent Susan Lessard.
