Hi everyone!!
I hate to sound desperate, but I would love to book some more jobs! With Sophie's treatments and then her passing, along with Sasha's cancer diagnosis, we've spent lots of money recently on our fur babies. And I'm sure will continue to do so with Sasha's oncology consult coming up! I do everything I can for my babies without finances being a determining factor, but it does take a toll financially 😆
I know it doesn't help that I am pretty limited in the types of jobs I can do now with having a baby, compared to in the past. I'm sure I will be more available in future years.
But for now, please think of me if you need pet care that involves Visits, instead of overnights. I would love to check on your kitties, bunnies, chickens, etc.
If you need help giving your fur baby medications at home, like subcutaneous fluids, I do that too!!
I also still have a couple openings available on Wednesdays and Thursdays for dog walking.

Remember, I am an insured petsitter with work experience in the Vet Med field 🐾

I have been dreading this post for the last year and a half..

Regrettably but necessarily, effective January 1, 2025, my rates will be increasing by 20%. This includes: boarding, overnight stays, drop ins, basically everything I offer.

I understand how this may negatively affect some of my clients. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. I try to be very reasonable, to an extent of course.

Are you not comfortable with someone staying in your home while you’re away?
But don’t want to board your pet at a corporate owned kennel where diseases can be spread?

I am opening my home to your fur baby or babies while you’re away. But please keep in mind, reservations will fill up as I will not be taking more than 1 family at a time to minimize exposure.

We found a little break in our busy schedule to squeeze in a mini trip to Florida! But this all could not be possible without the help of our mothers. They held the fort down at home with the HMI crew. They made our trip away from the girls easy and relaxing!

When I said reservations were pouring in, I wasn’t kidding!

I can’t thank you all enough for your continuous support and business over the years!

This is the fastest I’ve ever had to pull the plug on accepting any more reservations for in-home pet sitting for summer 2024.

Even though I am booked for in-home pet sitting - drop ins, walks etc will still be available.

Books are open for September 2024 to December 2024 right now. But remember, they will fill quickly.

🌼 Happy first day of spring! Today is the vernal equinox, when daylight and night are perfectly equal and astronomical spring officially begins. We’ve been enjoying the sunshine and mild weather, and the plants are coming to life too. Whether it’s puppies digging up bulbs or cats nibbling on leaves, our ER sees a variety of toxic plant cases every year - and knowing which ones may be dangerous can be key to keeping your pets safe.

There are many more toxic plants besides the ones pictured here – we recommend checking the ASPCA Poison Control website at https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants for information on specific plants, and what signs you should look out for. If you suspect your pet has ingested a harmful plant, contact poison control for recommendations on how to proceed.
