A huge thank you to Better Together Pet Resource Center for welcoming our Nose Work teams and allowing us to search your building and van during our recent Nose Work Pop-Up! 🐾

We are incredibly grateful for everything your organization does to support pets and the people who love them. Opportunities like these allow our teams to practice their skills in new and challenging environments while supporting local organizations that make a difference in our community.

Our next Nose Work Pop-Up is already on the schedule for June 20th at Royalton Airport! ✈️ This is always a fun and unique search environment that gives teams the opportunity to work in a location they don't encounter every day.

Space is limited, so be sure to grab your spot before it fills!

Emma and her handler putting in the work during a private lesson with trainer Cheryl! 🐾
In this clip, they're practicing one of our favorite foundation recall games: Dog in the Middle. This fun exercise teaches dogs to respond quickly when called, build value in returning to their handler, and develop enthusiasm for recall training.
A reliable recall doesn't happen overnight—it’s built through games, repetition, and rewarding your dog for choosing to come back to you. Emma is making great progress and having fun along the way!

🎓 Congratulations to Millie on graduating Puppy Pre-K! 🎓

Over the past several weeks, Millie has been building important life skills while gaining confidence in new environments, meeting new people, and learning alongside other puppies. From focus and engagement exercises to handling, socialization, and foundational obedience skills, she's been off to a fantastic start.

We're so proud of all the hard work Millie and her family have put in. As a Puppy Pre-K graduate, Millie has also earned her AKC STAR Puppy title! ⭐

Keep up the great work, Millie—we can't wait to see what you learn next!

Cooper is taking “relax on your mat” to a whole new level in House Dog Obedience Level 1 😂🐾

Nothing says comfort and confidence quite like fully relaxing on your station with your tongue hanging out during class!

Stationing and relaxation exercises are such important life skills for dogs — helping them learn how to settle, stay engaged with their handler, and calmly exist in exciting environments around distractions. Cooper clearly understood the assignment. 💙

Teams in Werk It! Trick Class practiced their “paws up” skills this week using one of instructor Jill’s adorable props — the “Free Kisses” box! 💋🐾

Jill always brings the most creative setup ideas to class, making learning both fun and engaging for dogs and handlers alike. From shaping new tricks to building confidence and body awareness, these teams have been working hard learning a variety of fun new skills over the course of the session.

At the final class, teams will get to show off everything they’ve learned and have the opportunity to earn their AKC Trick Dog titles! ⭐️

Congratulations to Montana on graduating from Nose Work Level 2: Pairing Puzzles with trainer Cheryl! 🐾

During this session, Montana worked on building confidence on odor, developing stronger source identification skills, and tackling more complex search setups designed to challenge both dog and handler teamwork. Wonderful job to this team on all their hard work!

Montana can now continue into Nose Work Level 3: Foundational Skill Building or join us in our Nose Work drop-in classes to keep building search skills and experience.
