Meet Ziggy! 🐶

At just 10 weeks old, Ziggy is already building the foundation for a lifetime of great leash skills. In this session, he's learning that wearing a harness is fun, introducing the leash in a positive way, and discovering how to move confidently with someone holding the other end.

Ziggy is part of our Breeder Stay & Train program, where we help puppies develop important life skills before they head to their forever homes. Looking for similar one-on-one training for your own puppy or dog? We offer personalized in-home Day Training programs for private clients too!

Intermediate Fitness starts TOMORROW! Take your dog's fitness training to the next level!

Ready to build on your dog's endurance, core strength, and body awareness? Our Intermediate Canine Fitness class with Leah Senecal, LVT, CCMT, CCRP, CSCC, CSMP is designed for teams who have already completed a fitness class with Leah and are ready for the next challenge.

In this exercise-packed course you'll:
• Build endurance and core strength
• Learn proper warm-up and cool-down routines
• Introduce new fitness equipment
• Expand your dog's individualized conditioning plan
• Continue developing strength, coordination, and body awareness

A few highlights from our Introduction to Agility class with Megan! 🐾

This class is all about building the foundation skills that set dogs up for success on agility equipment. Throughout the session, teams practiced body awareness, introduced obstacles like the tunnel and tire, and worked on important contact behaviors, including a two-on, two-off position.

By taking the time to build confidence and understanding first, dogs develop the skills they'll need as they progress through more advanced agility training. Great work, everyone!

Congratulations to our Wednesday 6:15 PM House Dog Obedience Level 1 graduates! 🎉🐾

A big round of applause to Willow, Gideon, Wallen, Casper, and Millie for completing House Dog Obedience Level 1 with instructor Marissa!

Over the past six weeks, these teams have built strong foundations in everyday obedience, including sit, down, leash skills, polite greetings, stays, recall, targeting, and more. Every team made great progress through consistent practice and teamwork, and we're excited to see what they accomplish next.

Congratulations to all of our graduates—we can't wait to see you continue your training journey at The Noble Beast!

The wall construction is officially complete! While we still have plenty of work ahead to finish setting up our expanded space, we're excited to start putting it to use.

Join us for Nose Work Drop-In Classes:
• Tuesdays at 7:45 PM in the Arena
• Fridays at 5:00 PM in the Studio

Any dog currently training on odor is welcome to attend!

Tuesdays generally feature larger, more advanced search areas, while Fridays focus on foundational skill building. That said, all teams are welcome at either class, and every search can be modified to fit your team's current experience level.

We can't wait to share this next chapter of TNB with all of you as we continue building it into something special!

Danny recently graduated from his six-pack of private lessons with Marissa, and what a way to finish! 🎉

When Danny first started, veterinary visits often involved chasing him around the exam room and cornering him just to complete routine care. Today was a completely different story.

Using cooperative care skills and gentle restraint, Danny voluntarily participated in his annual heartworm and tick-borne disease blood test with a jugular blood draw. He stayed engaged throughout the entire procedure—no flinching, no pulling away, and no signs of wanting to disengage.

This is what cooperative care is all about: giving dogs the skills and confidence to actively participate in their own care while making veterinary visits less stressful for everyone involved.

We're so proud of Danny and his family for all of the hard work they've put in. Congratulations on an incredible milestone!

A whole lot of weaving happened last weekend! 🐾

Our teams joined Megan for a focused Weave Pole Workshop, sharpening entries, improving understanding, and building confidence one set of poles at a time. We loved watching all the progress throughout the morning!
