🐾 Puppy Pre-K: Start Your Pup Off on the Right Paw! 🐾

📚 What We Offer:
AKC STAR Puppy Diploma: Earn this prestigious title after attending 6 classes.

📝 Class Details:
Open Enrollment: Start as soon as your pup meets the requirements!
Age Limit: Puppies must finish by 20 weeks old.
Cost: $30 per 1-hour class.
Vaccination Requirements: Puppies need to be as current as possible on distemper/parvo vaccines as recommended by their vet. Bordetella is strongly recommended, along with a negative stool sample or deworming, and a recent vet exam.
Schedule: Classes meet every Thursday at 7:30 PM and every Saturday at 10:15 AM.

🐀 Happy Ratters 🐀

Similar to the sport of Barn Hunt, Happy Ratters offers fun vermin hunting for dogs in an "urban" type setting! Instead of searching through bales of hay, dogs hunt for rats hidden in or around trash bags, boxes, barrels, and other items found in a city alley. The difference is that this "trash" is clean—new bags with shredded paper, clean boxes, etc. If your dog has no prior ratters experience, or if you are working toward RAT or HRAT titles, drop into a Novice class. If your dog has ratter experience and you are working toward XRAT titles or higher, feel free to drop into the Experienced class!

🐾 NW Level 1: Introduction to Scent Work 🐾

This beginner-friendly class introduces dogs and their handlers to the basics of scent detection using primary rewards such as food or toys. The focus is on developing your dog's natural scenting abilities while building foundational skills in a fun, supportive environment. This class is a prerequisite for Nose Work Level 2: Pairing Puzzles where we introduce the common odors used in scent detection sports.

⭐️TNB Glow Up! ⭐️

Today's glow up features Freyja, a one year old Pomeranian! Freyja's first class at TNB was puppy pre-k in 2024. Since then, Freyja and her handler Mark have taken House Dog Obedience 1 & 2, as well as a handful of our specialty classes including agility and nose work.

This workshop combines Leah Senecal’s jumping fitness expertise with Megan Maholsic’s agility skills to help your dog develop better jumping mechanics. Topics include troubleshooting bar knocking, collection work, visual skills, strength training, and reducing early takeoffs. Both fitness and agility exercises will be presented, practiced, and discussed to improve your dog’s jumping performance.

Do Over Dog Training is hosting a very local nose work trial! If your dog has earned their ORT title you can enter the NW1! This is also a GREAT opportunity to volunteer and observe some teams in action! The best way to learn about the sport!

Don't forget to enter our ELT-S/NW2/NW1 trials taking place at Daemen University on May 31st and June 1st. If you're not eligible for these levels, it's a close local trial you can volunteer at. And remember - if you have at least 1 NW3 or EST3 title you can enter ELT-S! These trials are so much fun, don't miss out!
