Nicola Walker is one of those rare actresses who is always a joy to watch. Whatever she appears in, you know the performance will be grounded, believable and completely absorbing. She’s been consistently outstanding for over 30 years, and the range of work she’s done speaks for itself.
Most people first remember her from Spooks, where she played Ruth Evershed — a character who became one of the most loved faces in the whole series. She brought a quiet realism and emotional depth to the role that made it impossible not to connect with her.
Then there’s Unforgotten, the ITV crime drama where she played DCI Cassie Stuart. Easily one of the strongest detective performances in recent British TV, Nicola delivered a character who felt like a real person, not a TV invention. No gimmicks, no theatrics — just honest, detailed acting that made the show what it was.
She was equally brilliant in The Split, taking on the role of divorce lawyer Hannah Stern. Again, she made the character complex and human, carrying the series from start to finish. You don’t often see someone jump from spy dramas to police work to legal dramas with this level of consistency, but Nicola Walker manages it with ease.
Whether it’s stage, radio, or television, she brings the same commitment every time. No big showiness, no unnecessary fuss — just pure talent, delivered with absolute precision.

Infinity Farms Animal Sanctuary and Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing needy animals with love, companionship, and another chance of life that they deserve. We help animals all around the state of Oklahoma who are in urgent need. We take them under our wing, rehabilitate them, nurture them socialize them, and adopt them out to approved, wonderful, forever homes.
Infinity Farms was founded in 2016 as a way to save farm animals on death row. The rescue side of the organization has since expanded to be foster-based saving cats and dogs (and the occasional exotic animal) who are in especially urgent situations. These animals are placed in temporary, carefully selected foster homes while we provide medical care and find them their forever homes. We spend nearly $15,000 on medical every month. Yes, every single month! All of our donations go toward our animals being medically up to date, spayed or neutered, microchipped, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, heartworm testing, injured animals, parvo pups, moms and babies, and SO much more.
At Infinity Farms, we are here to serve the animals, however, we truly cannot operate without the help of others. When our community joins hand to help animals and our cause, we are able to save their lives and change it in so many ways... for infinity.

What does being a foster mean?
Fostering an animal with IF Rescue means you bring a rescue in need of a home into your own home temporarily while we get the animal ready for their forever home. This means feeding, exercising, socializing, administering medicine, bringing the animal to scheduled vet appointments, basic training, attending adoption events, and loving the animal as if they were your own.
How do I become a foster?
To become a foster, please fill out a foster application.
Can I choose the animal I want to foster?
Based on your foster application and our communication with you, we will help you find the best animal to foster suited to your home and lifestyle!
What do I have to pay for as a foster?
We cover veterinary expenses and do our absolute best to cover food, crates, and basic care needs for your foster animal. Because we are run on a donation basis, you may need to assist with daily care costs.
