✨ Chance Update: Still Fighting, Still Thriving ✨
When we say this boy has heart—we mean it.
Chance continues to improve and thrive in his foster home, showing us every single day that he is not ready to give up.
Despite a fractured pelvis and hip, he is walking, gaining strength, and reminding us all what resilience looks like.
We want to extend a very special thank you to Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital in Norman for stepping up in a big way—providing a pro bono workup including X-rays, vaccines, and a full exam.
They will also be performing his tail amputation this Wednesday, April 15th, helping give him the comfort and healing he deserves.
Chance has also been diagnosed with heartworms, so his journey isn’t over yet—he will need continued care and treatment in the weeks ahead.
But if there’s one thing this dog has made clear, it’s this:
He’s fighting. And when they fight, we fight right alongside them.
His progress is nothing short of incredible—and it’s because people chose to believe in him.
💛 Want to be part of Chance’s journey?
Donations to support his ongoing care can be made to Moore Pawsabilities Friends of the Moore Animal Shelter. Every dollar helps give dogs like Chance the chance they deserve.
Thank you for standing with him.
We can’t wait to keep sharing his progress. 🐾
