Our Shelter Star for the month of June is Tigon!🌟 Tigon is a sweet pitty-boxer mix that would do best in a home with older kiddos and/or adults as well as the only dog in the home. Tigon knows some amazing tricks like sit, down, and wait.

Tigon's adoption fee is covered through the Friends of NACC Shelter Star Adoption Program! Stop by to visit with this sweet boy (and maybe see him get the zoomies!)

Volunteers Needed!

Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center will be at Harborfest on Saturday, June 20th, and the Norfolk Latino Music Festival on Saturday, July 18th, pouring drinks for festival goers.

We need energetic folks who can serve drinks at our beverage tents. All tips received will go to Norfolk Animal Care Center. Sign up using the links below.

Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center recently welcomed Girl Scout Troop 45 for a special behind-the-scenes tour of Norfolk Animal Care Center. The scouts learned about animal care including how food, enrichment, grooming, and medical attention help pets stay healthy and met some of the sweet residents looking for loving homes. As part of their visit, Troop 45 generously donated supplies to support daily care and enrichment. We are so inspired by this next generation of animal advocates! 🐾

We had an incredible time dishing out pup cups at Bark in the Park last night at the Norfolk Tides game!

We loved seeing adoptable dogs Wilbur and Super Mario enjoying a night out of the shelter! Wilbur is on a NACC Slumber Pack and Mario is in a loving foster home. Please visit Norfolk Animal Care Center to ask about meeting these baseball-loving pups!

The dogs at Norfolk Animal Care Center are ready for tonight's Bark in the Park. Bring your pup to Harbor Park with $5 dog tickets benefiting Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center. Don't have a dog? You can take a shelter dog out for an unforgettable night with a Nacc Slumber Pack.

Start with Bark in the Park at the Norfolk Tides game, then bring your new buddy home for a cozy sleepover, up to 72 hours 🎟️ Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center will cover your game tickets—all we ask is that you snap some photos and help spread the word about your foster pup!
