While we may not offer public emergency services regularly, that doesn’t mean emergencies don’t happen here.
Behind the scenes, there are animals fighting for their lives, recovering from surgery, needing medications, feedings, monitoring, and comfort at all hours of the day and night. The work doesn't stop when the doors close.
We're incredibly grateful for our staff who hustle through packed days at the shelter and clinic, caring for the constant flow of animals that depend on us, and then continue that same dedication long after most people have gone home. Whether it's a busy day full of adoptions, appointments, and animal care, or a late night emergency with a hospitalized patient, they show up with compassion, determination, and a genuine love for the animals we serve.
They are truly the heartbeat of our mission, and we could not do this work without them.
And if you're wondering what fuels this incredible team through the long days and even longer nights... let's just say coffee, Gatorade, popsicles, and chocolate are always appreciated. 😉❤️☕🥤🍫🐾
