Kitten Central is looking for community members to sponsor a great non-profit, doing great work. Showcase your business and show that you are part of the solution. Hi, we are some of the moms and babies going up for adoption tomorrow at Placer County Animal Services in Auburn. We are all loving and were raised with our moms. Placer opens at 10 am for adoptions.

Wanna know why we have been so quiet? We have taken 49% more kittens this year than last year. That's 278 since about March 1st. With that said, we will have our 1st rush of adoptables coming soon. Like 80 of these precious babies in the next 3 weeks. Here is how Kitten Central handles adoptions:

Kitten Central and Adoptions
Kitten Central is a non-profit veterinary hospital specializing in the care of neonatal kittens from birth to 28 days old. Although every kitten in our program receives full veterinary care before becoming available for adoption, we do not facilitate adoptions directly. Each kitten in our care belongs to a partnering shelter or rescue organization.
Our largest partner is Placer County Animal Services (https://www.placer.ca.gov/1909/Animal-Services). Fully vetted kittens are transferred to their team each Thursday for spay/neuter procedures and become available for adoption at their Auburn facility on Friday mornings. Due to the intensive nature of our medical work, we are unable to offer pre-adoption services or manage adoption inquiries.
We also support several additional rescue partners, including:
• Placer SPCA – https://placerspca.org/
• Happy Tails (Sacramento) – https://happytails.org
• Fat Kitty City – https://fatkittycity.org
Each organization maintains its own adoption policies, procedures, and fees. For adoption information, please visit each organization's website.

Thank you all for supporting our life-saving work. God Bless You
We regularly share photos and videos on social media so you can follow the progress of the litters currently in our care. However, we do not place holds, offer pre-adoptions, or provide fee estimates

Dear Community,

There are moments when “thank you” feels far too small for what is in our hearts — and today is one of those moments. Each Big Day of Giving reminds us just how much love, compassion, and quiet generosity surrounds the tiniest, most fragile lives in our community.

What humbles us every single year is this: so many of you who give… we’ve never even met. You don’t know us personally, and yet you choose to stand with us. In the early days, it was our friends, our fosters, and our close circle who carried us through. Now, the way our wider community rises up — people from every corner of Placer County and beyond — it takes our breath away.

Your gifts arrive at the very moment kitten season hits its hardest, when newborns are coming through our doors cold, hungry, injured, or abandoned. And every time, you are there. You turn fear into safety, despair into hope, and tiny heartbeats into second chances.

You are part of every life saved. You are part of every miracle.

From the bottom of our hearts — and on behalf of our Board of Directors, our incredible volunteers, and our devoted staff — God bless you for believing in this work and for lifting up the kittens who cannot speak for themselves.

With endless gratitude,
Kitten Central.
