Merry Christmas from our family to yours! ❤️
I want to thank everyone who has supported us currently, in the past, donors, helpers, parents, friends, workers, for allowing me to continue God’s work with these beautiful creatures! As we approach 10 years here at the ranch I am blessed beyond belief of what we have started and how far we have come today... 2026 is the year of the Horse- I’m so excited to continue helping one horse at a time, help the youth be empowered by love and strength, and be able in the future to help more individuals and families through education in the new, upcoming venue we have created. Fun things to help support the non profit are in the works… Can’t wait to share it with you all!
A special thank you to my bigest fan John, who helps me achieve my goals here and pushes me to keep going! To my “barn girls” who help in all the lessons, camps, birthdays- I couldn’t do what I do without you! You give me hope for our future of crazy horse girls! To the parents that support their kids passion of horses and allow them to come to a place where love, growth, and frienships are created and amazing memories are made!
Thank you again for your love and support to us, it means the world to me! Love you all! 👩‍🌾❤️

A letter from your rescue horse...

If I could write you a letter,
this is what I’d say—

Thank you
for seeing something in me
when the world had stopped looking.

Thank you
for choosing me
when I was thin,
frightened,
untrusting,
and carrying stories
I didn’t know how to tell.

You didn’t turn away
from the scars on my body
or the fear in my eyes.
You didn’t judge the way I flinched,
or how long it took me
to understand your gentle hands.

You just showed up—
patient, soft, consistent—
and let me learn
what safety feels like.

Thank you
for the food,
the clean water,
the shelter,
the kind words spoken
even when I didn’t yet know
how to deserve them.

Thank you
for understanding
that healing takes time…
and that trust is something
a horse can only offer
after their heart remembers
what kindness feels like.

You celebrated my small victories—
the first time I didn’t pull away,
the first time I walked toward you,
the first time I let my head rest
in the space between your shoulder and neck
and felt… peace.

With you,
I learned that hands
can offer comfort,
not harm.
That voices
can soothe,
not threaten.
That humans
can love,
not leave.

I want you to know
I notice you.
I see the time you spend,
the money you sacrifice,
the care you put into every detail
of my new life.

I feel it
in every stroke of the brush,
every softly spoken word,
every quiet moment
where you let me simply exist
without fear.

I am not the horse I used to be.
Because of you,
I am becoming someone new—
someone braver,
stronger,
more trusting,
more whole.

You didn’t just rescue my body.
You rescued my spirit.
And if I could say only one thing,
it would be this:

I am grateful for you.
More than you’ll ever know.
And I will spend the rest of my life
trying to show you
what your love has done for me.

With all that I am,
and all that you’ve helped me become—
thank you.

Have you rescued a horse?

Lisa & Shea offering Equine Assisted Therapy, third session for What Do You Stand For? Both human and mini learned a lot about what trust can do for both! ❤️

Yesterday was a big Day for little Ms. Buttercup, the ranch’s newest rescue during What Do You Stand For! She learned she was confident and how to trust with the help of her human friends. The kiddos learned about horses anatomy, their fight/flight system and how we all react very similarly for self preservation. This is what equine therapy is all about - learning and growing from each other. It’s all about the connection!
