:::FOSTERS FOR SENIOR CATS IN NEED:::

Hello BVC family! As all of you who follow us know, we pride ourselves with working with and supporting the rescue community- especially Frankie's Fund For Feline Care and Rescue, an organization solely devoted to rescuing senior cats from our shelter system who would otherwise be euthanized due to illness and age. Bunny Hofberg, who is the sole director of this exceptional organization, works tirelessly to pull, vet and place hundreds of senior cats every year and we are proud to be a part of her network- giving these cats the second chance they so desperately need.

What Bunny needs right now are fosters so she can continue to rescue these seniors- often surrendered at the shelter in their golden years by families unwilling to deal with medical issues that often arise with aging cats. When you foster for Frankie’s Feline Fund, the group assumes all financial responsibility for the cat’s medical needs- and in some cases, when cats require prescription diets- even their food. All that is asked of you is to give a senior kitty the peace, calm and comfort they deserve.
