I had the awesome opportunity to speak at a church group in St. Paul a few weeks ago. I was honored to be asked to be part of Saint Francis/Service week.

Introducing our newest Resident! ❤️ This sweet Cornish Roo was welcomed into his forever home at SS last Sunday and we are looking for your help to name him. The name chosen by our team will win a night in the Airbnb suite and some one on one time with this sweetheart. Shoot us your ideas and we will choose a name Monday morning. Hope to see you out for the Halloween bash tomorrow! 🧡 🐔 🍁 🐓 🧡

This chilly weather is the perfect reminder that Fall is here- and what better way to celebrate than with our Halloween Party this weekend? 🎃

There's even more fun to be had now -- We've added on a costume contest to encourage you to dress in your most spook-tacular outfits🧙‍♂️👸 With prizes for our best dressed, of course! Also expect bingo, yard games, and some dancing!

We also encourage you to bring along any spare pumpkin(s) you might have, or any extra costume accessories! We'd love for our residents to partake in this extra special treat day, too!

Happy Fall Friends! 🧡🍁🧡🍁🧡

Life, as of late, has been a beautiful blend of joy and pain, and being fully engaged in finding the delicate balance between the two.

We recently welcomed four new intakes, and I am thrilled to introduce each of them to you. 🐐 🐓 🦆 🐐 !!

In the meantime, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your continued support and love for all of us here at SS. Whether you're sending love, making a donation, or sharing our posts…!every action is equally valuable and deeply appreciated. Your support is the driving force behind our continued growth and success.

I have a grateful heart and pride in the fact that we have never faltered from our mission of being a driving force for

Compassion towards ALL BEINGS.

No matter what.

We accept you wherever you are, and we will continue to advocate for the animals, and at the same time be hand-in-hand with you, wherever you’re at in your journey.

This has been a hotspot for many years with the extreme side of this community, but I am unwavering and proud to say that we are steadfast in this mission to advocate for a more compassionate world for all of us.

Non-humans and humans alike.

We simply cannot be hard-core advocates for the animals, and at the same time hate the humans who don’t fully agree with us or understand… yet.

That is what Sanctuary is about.

The YET.

We are here to be gaurdians for the ones that are here to be ambassadors for all the ones that didn’t get that second chance. We are here to be the guardians for the ones that allow the hugs, the love, the grooming, the secret whispers that no one else will ever share.

That’s the power of Sanctuary.

Getting to intimately know, The Ones… that didn’t get that opportunity to Jump.

Thank you to all of you that have stood by us on this journey of loving, learning, and knowing, we are all in this together.

Truly , we are all just walking each other home.

I am grateful for every experience, both good and bad, as they are an integral part of our journey.
We will continue to navigate life's challenges and triumphs together!

They are characterized by the webbing connecting three of the front toes, with a small, un-webbed hind toe. This adaptation makes them efficient for swimming by providing a paddle-like surface to push against the water.)
