💔 Can we have an honest conversation?

Every day, healthy, loving dogs are euthanized simply because there aren’t enough homes.

Shelters are overcrowded.

Rescues are overwhelmed.

Volunteers are exhausted.

And the dogs are the ones paying the price.

This isn’t about blaming one person or one group. It’s about asking ourselves how we can do better.

Responsible spaying and neutering, thoughtful breeding practices, adopting when possible, and making a lifelong commitment to our pets are all part of the solution.

Every unwanted litter matters.

Every abandoned dog matters.

Every life matters.

When the air is only 77°F, asphalt can reach 125°F—hot enough to burn your dog's paw pads in as little as 60 seconds.

Before every walk, place the back of your hand or your bare foot on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them.

A simple check can prevent a painful injury.
