💔 **HER SISTER GOT HER HAPPY ENDING. HARLOW GOT LEFT BEHIND.** 💔
Imagine spending your whole life with your sister. Playing together, getting into trouble together, making each other feel safe in a world that doesn't always make sense.
Then one day, somebody comes along and chooses her.
**But not you.**
🐾 Hi. I'm Harlow. I'm two years old, 40 pounds of adorable mini-Husky, and until recently, I had a sister named Marilyn.
We were quite the little duo. Two beautiful, silly girls who loved to play, loved other dogs, and could entertain an entire audience with our ridiculous Husky shenanigans.
We were supposed to have our whole lives ahead of us.
And then Marilyn got adopted. ❤️
I'm so happy for my sister. I really am. She deserves a family, a soft bed, endless love, and a lifetime of being someone's favorite girl.
**But I deserve those things, too.**
And now I'm sitting here at the Downey Animal Care Center, wondering when somebody is going to come for me.
I don't understand why she was chosen and I wasn't.
Was I not pretty enough? Not funny enough? Did I not wiggle my little 40-pound b***y hard enough when somebody walked past?
Because I promise, I'm a REALLY good girl.
I love other dogs. I love to play. I'm sweet, silly, and basically a full-sized Husky personality stuffed into a fun-sized body.
I have so much love to give.
**I just need somebody who wants to receive it.**
🥺 Woof Tribe heard about me, and apparently they've fallen head over heels for my little floofy self.
They want to save me. They want to give me a chance to have the same happy ending my sister got.
But they can't do it alone.
🚨 **I NEED AN ADOPTER AND PLEDGES TO HELP COVER MY RESCUE.** 🚨
Woof Tribe needs a committed forever family and enough funding for my veterinary care, boarding, and transportation before they can make that promise to me.
I'm not asking to take my sister's place.
I'm just asking for a place of my own.
A home where I won't be the one left behind.
A family that looks at me and says, **"THAT ONE. WE WANT HER."**
Because somewhere out there, I know there's a person who hasn't met me yet, but whose life is missing exactly 40 pounds of spectacular Husky nonsense.
