Did you know? It’s so easy to make dog-friendly icecream for your pet!

Just blend together 16oz plain yogurt, 1 ripe banana, and ⅓ cup of peanut butter. (Make sure your peanut butter does not contain xylitol!) Spoon the blended mixture into a popsicle mold, ice tray, or muffin tray; then freeze for a few hours.

On National Pet Fire Safety Day, it’s important to remember to include your furry family members into your emergency plan should a fire ever occur. This day focuses on awareness, preparedness, and practical safety measures!

Here are some tips to help your pet stay safe:

🔥 Prepare a disaster supplies kit for your pet, and plan an emergency safe place for them to stay if you need to leave your home.
🔥 When you practice your escape plan, practice taking your pets with you. Train them to come to you when you call.
🔥 Display “pet finder” stickers near windows and/or doors in your home, to inform fire fighters that you have a pet.
🔥 In the event of a disaster, if you must evacuate, the most important thing you can do to protect your pets is to evacuate them, too. But remember: never delay escape or endanger yourself or family to rescue a family pet.
