As we wrap up the year, we want to take a moment to highlight one of the most impactful ways we support pets in our community: access to preventive care. 💛🐾

Our weekly Vaccine Clinic helps protect pets from preventable diseases and keeps them healthy, safe, and home with the people who love them. We’re incredibly grateful to Petco Love e for their support, which helps make this vital care possible for so many Napa County families. Here are just a few of the adorable faces we have seen recently, who left vaccinated and loved!

📣 Important clinic update:
We are closed today, December 26 to allow our hardworking staff time to rest and spend the holidays with their families.

✨ We’ll be back on January 2 with our first Vaccine Clinic of 2026.

Preventive care is a year-round need—and thanks to community partners and supporters, we’re proud to continue this work into the new year.

Humane education matters — and we’re proud to work alongside Kind News magazine and so many incredible partners to help kindness grow, one classroom at a time.

Kindness is blooming in California! We are so proud of the growing momentum for humane education and the deep roots Kind News has planted in classrooms over the last four decades.

This work wouldn’t be possible without our incredible partners. A huge shoutout to Ohlone Humane Society and Napa Humane for their dedication to humane education, which helps us reach hundreds of students year after year with Kind News! We also want to celebrate Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter for doubling their reach to more than 100 classrooms — helping kids learn empathy and the importance of animal adoption.

We’re also grateful to San Diego Humane Society for their collaboration. Because of their amazing work, we were able to feature the story of Brawley the coyote in our newest issue!

We’re currently running low and could use your help! Potty pads are essential for keeping pets comfortable, clean, and stress-free during recovery in our clinic.

🎤 Mic check… is this thing purring? 🐾

At Napa Humane, our clinic team is always thinking of ways to innovate and improve surgical outcomes for our patients. One of the hardest parts of recovery? The dreaded post-surgery cone. 😬

That’s why we’ve added a new option: post-surgical recovery suits that protect incisions while allowing pets to heal comfortably—without the pesky cone around their head.

We asked one of our recent patients how she felt about the new surgical suit, and judging by her enthusiastic reaction… we’d say it’s a purr-fect addition to our recovery care. 💛🐾

Because healing should be safe, comfortable—and maybe even a little cute.

This role isn’t flashy… but it’s absolutely vital to keeping our spay/neuter clinic running and helping hundreds of local pets each month. 💛 If you’re curious about veterinary medicine or love behind-the-scenes work, this is for you!

You’ll help with:
• Monitoring pets post-surgery
• Cleaning + sterilizing instruments
• Sanitizing caging
• Laundry + general clinic support

🕒 Shifts: Mon–Fri, 10am–12pm or 2pm–4:30pm
