Hi I'm Fudge. Like the candy, I am very sweet. Every human who meets me says I look really handsome, with my shiny black coat of fur and the beige ‘socks’ on my paw ends. There’s also the little beige tufts on my behind which my foster parents think look adorable. If you like any of the K-pop bands, you will love my hair tufts and wisps.
I am very curious and love to play around. If you give me some puzzles, especially with my favorite treats hidden in them, I will solve them in a jiffy. I have trained my human foster parents to hide extra treats when they want to see me really happy!
I am social, love connection and would love to have you around me as much as possible and interact with you. Having finished reading the ‘101 tricks to teach your humans’, I would say I feel pretty confident. Just come in with your can-do attitude and some of my treats, and we will take it from there.
I am also potty trained, my foster parents say. They keep filling up my food area with hay and pellets and cleaning it up every day. Then they jump with joy every morning when they see I have done my deed there and give me treats. Needless to say, I have trained them well. Il expect you to pick this trick up pronto, if you adopt me.
No, you cannot just pet me and lift me up right away. My mama has taught me well. Stranger danger and all that you know? Let me come to you and get comfortable with you. I like slow gentle pets on the head, if I get to know you a bit. If you do a good job at it, we can progress to the next trick of holding my treats in your hand and me gently eating it. Once that goes well, we can slowly proceed to you lifting me off the ground.
P.S My foster parents have some other babies that I have met and they didn’t faze me. So, if you have a baby that goes “woof woof” or makes a weird high pitched “meow” sound, I should be ok with them.
