Napa Valley Dog Training Club

Napa Valley Dog Training Club Organized in 1970, the Napa Valley Dog Training Club, Inc. is a Nonprofit Corp. and licensed by AKC. NVDTC Club membership is open to anyone. Visitors are welcome.

Established in 1970, the Napa Valley Dog Training Club (NVDTC) is a volunteer run nonprofit organization. We have two main goals: First, to promote responsible pet ownership by offering affordable training classes to the community. Second, to provide advanced training to those individuals interested in showing and competing with their dogs in trials to earn titles. At our General Meetings, held t

he 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm, interested individuals can join. Members who attend General Meetings receive a $10 coupon that can be used on training class fees. All club members receive a $10 discount on classes each session. http://www.nvdtc.org/membership/

The NVDTC offers training classes year-round from entry thru advanced levels. Our experienced instructors and assistants want to help you reach your training goals. Please call our office or connect via email several days before arriving. You can leave a message at 707-253-8666 or [email protected] and include your phone number, a little information about your dog and what level of training you are seeking. Our volunteers will connect with you as soon as possible.

ATTENTION on YOU is continuing on Friday nights at 7:00pm. New families and fluffs are welcome!

This class focuses on the dog paying attention to its owner consistently. Very helpful for formal obedience but also great for daily walks and community outings.

This 5-week starts on June 13th thru July 18th, skipping the national holiday on July 4th. Class fee is only $125.00.

STRENGHTENING the BASICS is a unique training and bonding opportunity. Each session is adapted for the families and their fluffs, and planned activities address each participant's needs.

Planned for 4 Saturdays at 10:00am in Session 4. Class runs June 13, 20, 27 and July 11 (skipping the national holiday weekend). Cost is only $100.

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN class is planned for Session 4, 2026 at our facility in Napa.

Thursdays at 7:00pm, 6-weeks starting June 11th thru July 16th.
Class fee is $150.00 and includes the evaluation on the final class.
