It’s the season for giving. Today the Napa Valley Give!Guide launches with over 90 local non profits. Last year we raised over $30,000. Let’s beat that this year. All of our donations help animals in our community. 90% of the people and pets we help are in Napa County. We are 100% volunteer ran and fixed more than 250 Ferals last year. Please share with friends and family and let’s keep saving animals through spay and neuter, fostering, and supporting each other. You can donate through the link! https://www.candogiveguide.org/nonprofits/ripple-effect-animal-project/

Pickles has lived in the Bel Aire neighborhood for over 10 years he comes and he goes, but most recently he has taken up to hanging out in a neighbor’s garage. When they started to notice he was having a hard time walking we got pickles into Silverado Veterinary Hospital and we discovered he has a fractured pelvis. We set the neighbors up with a large crate and he is on six weeks of Crate. Rest to see if he can heal. We’re all sending good healing vibes to pickles and if you feel inclined to donate to his care to help cover the cost of his vet visit, we were close to about $500. You can donate through our website.https://www.rippleeffectnapa.org/

This last couple of months have been busy with fundraisers and events but that hasn’t slowed us down. Behind the scenes we are trapping daily and getting cats fixed daily. We will be highlighted some numbers and community assist as we try to get caught up and prepare for the Napa Valley Give!Guide launch on November 1st. 3 Ferals went in today and 2 more were caught.

He may be a Drama King but he is equally as sweet. He has no tolerance for anything he thinks may hurt which has earned him his nickname. Peanut was found in a box as a puppy. His owner raised his for 9 years when homelessness made her give up her dogs. Peanut found himself at a local shelter and was not coping well. He has been in foster working on his acting skills. He is ready to be your whole world. But you must have a bucket full of mini balls. This guy could fetch all day.

We have been trapping an amazing amount of Ferals. While they wait for appointments we keep them in an enclosure where they can run around but sometimes we are trapping multiple colonies so we have smaller condos inside the large one. We could use help cleaning it and getting it ready for the next round of cats. The enclosure in a perfect world would get cleaned out weekly depending on how many cats are house each week. The cleaning should only take 1-2 hours depending on if there are 1 or 2 people working on it. The bonus you will be supervised by Hollywood(cat) and Cinder(goat). This enclosure allows us to trap everyday and maximize the number of feral or community cats we can get fixed each week. Thanks in advance!!
