JUNE 24th WEDNESDAY CAMP YAPPY is moved out a week so to everyone’s super busy schedules. We hope to see you there were there will be fun games for people, new dog menu for the pups, great prizes, food, drinks, company and views. The ALBA Patio is a special place where you can relax and let the sounds and stress of the day in town and enjoy the peace of the Napa River while hanging out with people and their pups. ❤️

We had a good Saturday with our friendsBAD RAP. 26 years ago this is where our rescue bug started.

DOGS DUN GOOD! Paws up to all these former shelter dogs and their people for earning their CGC / Canine Good Citizen certification last Saturday. Big thanks to Deassa Binstock & Kat (Ripple Effect Animal Project's own rock stars 🧡) for running such a great test. Extry thanks to Berenice Mora for all your help and Ashley for bringing your adorable neutral dog. Teamwork!

People always ask how they can volunteer. We have a few people who help with trapping Ferals, some transport to and from the vet and now we need someone who loves to organize to go through our donation truck and purge the old to make room for the new. The bones are there. Once it’s organized checking in on it and giving it love once or twice a month. Second job is our feral cat enclosure. Depending how busy we are will Ferals it needs a little love and cleanup once a week. Maybe twice if we have a lot of cats moving through. Less than an hour worth of work. We are up to 11 kittens from 3 different litters from 2 different feral colonies. Moms have been fixed and released and now we try and socialize these babies until they can be fixed and adopted. Our needs right now are FOSTERS, KITTEN FOOD and TOYS AND CARDBOARD SCRATCHERS. We are working on updating our chewy wishlist. We have been working on a small colony on La Homa. We have 6 kittens from 2 moms which are now no longer going to be adding to the cat over population problem. This all happened in a couple of days thanks to a pair of dedicated neighbors. Donations can be made through our website to help with the cost of spay and neuter. https://www.rippleeffectnapa.org/

Buddy arrived Saturday. He will be in our foster care for the next 30 days while his dad recovers from his medical event and gets to go home where he will be met by a very happy and well taken care of nest friend. We can’t always help but sometimes the stars align. His case worker had adopted a pair of kittens from us years ago and reached out. We were happy to say yes. Thank you for getting him neutered, groomed and up to date on vaccines.

Rescue never takes a holiday. Yesterday we loaned out two of our new traps that were donated and today we received our first momma cat and 3 kittens. Momma will be fixed. I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who has made a donation or stopped by and given their support. It means the world to us. More animals will be saved from everyone’s KINDNESS ! We have a plan to approach the city after this years event. For now we we keep on doing what we do. Still trapping cats and saving lives.

UPDATE. RIDE FOUND
Buddy needs a ride tomorrow from Contra Costa Animal Service to Napa. He has been groomed since this photo. He is coming to us as an emergency foster while his dad recovers from a severe medical event. If you are coming up to and he can hitch a ride let us know!!
