Sweet little Dylan was making us some biscuits before he had surgery! Dylan is from Muncie Animal Care and Services, and had to have both eyes removed due to severe infection as a baby. He’s doing great now!

Dr. Jacob removed a bot fly larva from poor little Venus! Outdoor cats can be infected by bot flies when exploring near rodent or rabbit dens. The bot fly larva enters the host (in this case, Venus) through the nose, mouth, or a wound on the skin. It burrows there to continue developing. We removed the hitchhiker, cleaned the wound, and gave antibiotics, and now Venus is well on her way to a full recovery!
