Spring is finally here! You may encounter cottontail bunnies in your yard and think they are abandoned because you haven't seen the mother around in days. Mother rabbits are very sneaky and visit their nests only twice daily for quick feeding sessions. Bringing a wild rabbit into your home greatly decreases its chances of survival even if you mean well and want to help - it's also illegal if you are not a licensed wildlife rehabber! Whenever possible, leave the bunnies in their nest. If you find one who is bleeding, has an obvious broken bone, or has maggots on it, please contact a local wildlife rehabber to help.

This dog was found around the Acton Rd/Bloomfield Estates area today. She is a cute, shiny black and white Pitty with a large PatPet collar. If you have any information about this dog, please give us a call. Thank you!

‼️‼️ We are having unexpected maintenance done on our network right now. We will have no phones and no Internet for part of the day. If your pet is here with us, they are safe and being cared for. We will communicate more as we learn new information. ‼️‼️

We hope everyone has enjoyed the snow and been able to stay warm and safe. Our office will be open on Tuesday January 27, however we will be delaying opening until 1:00pm to allow travel bans to be lifted for our staff from surrounding counties.
