MJ Animal Shelter Volunteer Organization We are the volunteers for Mt Juliet Animal Care and Control! The Friends of Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter has 5 goals--
To engage the hearts , hands and minds of Mt.

"Everything we do is for the animals."

*Any questions regarding intake should be directed to the shelter.* Juliet to help abandoned, lost and stray animals. To educate the community in the humane treatment of animals. To help Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter maintain a low euthanasia facility through mandatory sterilization of all animals before placement. To promote financial support and volunteerism. To ensure that everybody understands that "EVERYTHING WE DO IS FOR THE ANIMALS"

If you find a lost pet, there are now **4 microchip scanning stations in Wilson County** where you can quickly check for a microchip and help reunite that pet with its family! ❤️

Microchips are one of the best ways to get lost pets back home:
✅ Pets with microchips are more than twice as likely to be reunited with their owners.
✅ Microchips contain a unique ID linked to your contact information.
✅ Many lost pets never make it home simply because they aren't microchipped.

A quick scan could be the difference between a pet spending days in a shelter or sleeping in their own bed tonight. 🐶🐱

🐱🍼 Kitten season has officially taken over the shelter... and these tiny babies are keeping us BUSY! 😅💕

With more than 40 kittens in our care, we are going through mountains of wet kitten food and kitty litter to keep all those little bellies full and their spaces clean and healthy. 🐾

If you'd like to help, donations of wet kitten food and kitty litter would make a huge difference for our tiniest residents. Every can and every scoop helps these babies grow strong and gives them the best start possible. ❤️

Our very first FREE Rabies & Microchip Clinic is officially in the books, and what a fantastic day it was! Thank you to everyone who came out to help keep your pets safe, healthy, and protected.

A HUGE shoutout goes to Green Hill Animal Hospital, Dr. McLean, and her amazing team for donating their time, expertise, and kindness to serve our community. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

Together, we’re helping more pets stay healthy, find their way home if they ever get lost, and remain with the families who love them.
