Here at P.A.W. Veterinary Clinic, we have invested in the HT Vista, an artificial intelligence skin cancer screening device! Sadly, half of dogs over 10 years develop cancer, and 1/3 of those cancers are skin related. Catching cancer early means a better prognosis! Which is why we want to introduce this new technology to our dog owners. The device is safe to use on the skin and is well tolerated by patients. No needles, gives fast results, is good value for money and highly accurate.

Imagine this: as you hit play on your favorite song, you notice your cat or dog perks up. Their tail wags or their ears twitch in sync with the rhythm. Could it be that our pets enjoy music just as we do? https://pbxx.it/8bOZ9i

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), better known as H5N1, avian flu, or bird flu, has primarily affected wild and domestic birds, causing widespread illness. While birds are the main carriers, the virus has occasionally been found in other species, including dogs, cats, cattle, and even humans. https://pbxx.it/xJzzQc

Dr. Wormell will be out of the office from February 21 to March 6, 2025 for a continuing education conference. In order to keep her veterinary license, she is required to attend a certain number of hours of continuing education every year.
The office will be open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm (Closed from 1-2pm for lunch) for prescription refills, and to schedule future appointments. Please keep in mind it may take longer than normal to get approval for refills so please call ahead of time before your pet runs out of their medication.
If your pet routinely takes a medication that is a controlled substance, please check your supply and request any refills prior to February 21, as these medications cannot be dispensed without the veterinarian present.
If your pet is having an emergency or an urgent issue that cannot wait to be seen, we are referring patients to one of the many veterinary er's or urgent cares in the area. If you need guidance on where to take your pet, please call the office and our technicians will be happy to help.
