Clarification:
This is a re-post I know nothing about them PM Fabio Hess with any questions
Two rescues in Michigan area:
Scottish terrier club of Michigan has two rescues in need of perfect homes
They just turned five years old. They are littermates both black males
Their owner was a man that passed away.
The dogs were turned into an animal shelter, who called our Rescue
We were told that they came from a breeder in the Lansing Michigan area
But that’s all we know about them.
Poe is the bigger boy and he does have a very loud bark
In his foster home, we noticed that he was bullying the other brother Lewis around so we are going to separate them
Both boys seem to be jealous of each other.
Poe is bigger, 30 pounds
Has excellent vet records
He seems to be housebroken, even though he is in a kennel right now awaiting his new home he will not go inside the kennel
Louis
It’s 22 pounds, again very good vet records. I think he could get along in a home with possibly a girl Scottie
He too seems to be housebroke , but once in a while will lift his leg so I do think of re-introduction will need to be made in that area
Both boys are very guardy
If that is a word
they will run the fence and bark, and if you have a screen or a glass door, they will bark at the door when people walk by. apparently they do not like the UPS driver, this was noticed by the foster home
Other than that, they seemed very friendly with everybody
I don’t think either guy should be in an apartment, especially because of the loud barking
But need to go to a home that understands Scottish terriers and can deal with the barking
Also we have yet to find a treat that Lewis likes
Poe he will eat a milk bone, but will not eat other treats
must have a handful of fresh pet food on top of their kibble otherwise they won’t eat
I don’t believe Louis drinks, enough water. So I do put a little water in his food.
