⚠️⚠️⚠️😢 Important Announcement from Annie’s Fruity Labradors 😢⚠️⚠️⚠️
After much thought and with a very heavy heart, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our program, Annie’s Fruity Labradors.
As many of you who have followed our journey know, I underwent ACL reconstruction surgery. Recovery from this has been long and far from simple. Even 6 months post-surgery, I am still unable to run, hike, or walk energetic dogs on a leash. As Labradors are strong, heavy, and full of energy, and as their primary caregiver and trainer, I can no longer give them the level of care and activity they need. Raising litters also requires a lot of bending and squatting, which remains extremely difficult for me.
We currently have four beautiful girls:
• Kiwi & Peach – our two stunning polar white girls
• Mango & Papaya – our two lovely dark yellow girls
We are now opening applications for Peach (3.5 years old) and Mango (4 years old) to find the right families for these two amazing girls. They both have fantastic temperaments, are fully health tested (all clear), very well trained, and truly beloved members of our family.
Papaya is currently raising a litter and is not yet available.
Kiwi has recently been bred — we will know in about 2 weeks if she is expecting. If she is, we will lovingly raise her final litter before helping her transition to the right family.
All of our girls have undergone extensive health testing. Their hips and elbows have been evaluated and certified free from dysplasia, they have completed full Embark DNA panels with all-clear results, and each holds a current ophthalmologist certificate.
If you are interested in being considered, please complete the application form on our website.
This was not an easy decision, and our hearts are heavy as we take this step. Thank you to everyone who has supported Annie’s Fruity Labradors over the years — it has been an honor to share this journey with you.
— Annie
