We are so proud to become the lettuce grower for The Diocese of Lafayette Schools! Direct from the farm to the school. Our hydroponic, non-GMO’d, herbicide/pesticide-free lettuce is harvested, packed, delivered and on plates within 48-72 hours. We are so grateful to The Diocese Food Nutrition Program Leaders for choosing high-quality, nutrient dense ingredients to feed their students. 🙏 Not only are they choosing quality, they chose safety and cleanliness by using products grown in a controlled environment like ours. It appears we are experiencing a dookiedemic, again, due to mass-produced, pre-packaged lettuce and other fresh veggies. According to the FDA report online, this is the 116th food or beverage recall in 2026 alone! We’ve had calls, texts and questions about our products and their safety. Let me remind you….. We grow hydroponically, inside enclosed greenhouses where we control everything, from airflow and humidity to the water it grows in. The water is from our own well, and we aren’t near any commercial feed lots like most of the lettuce grown in the United States. So the risk of contamination from outside sources is minimal. We are grown locally, right here in Monroe, LA. This is why knowing your farmer and knowing their agricultural practices is important. I can tell you the person who harvested that head of lettuce and the one who packed it for you. Giant assembly lines that operate under 10 different brands can’t do that. Thank you to everyone who chooses and serves our products! Growing clean, pesticide/herbicide free produce is our main priority! Enjoy your salads made with our lettuces and don’t worry!
