Nat's Pet Sitting Service I am a licensed veterinary technician with more than 20 years of experience I am a full time mom of 2 girls, dog mom of two pups as well.

The pups are Penny 10yr F/S(pittbull) and Vanilla 3yr F/S (golden) who is my daughters service dog. I have worked in the veterinary industry for over 20 years and did a lot of in home pet sitting while I was in Vet tech school. I know have a full time career working in research, but do still like to maintain companion animal pet sitting as my side hustle.

The heat the next several days and some next week are going to be very uncomfortable for animals and people! Please use caution and common sense when you have your animals outside. Short trips out to the bathroom and no walks until later evening or early mornings before the cement gets hot. Leave your pets home! Do not leave them in the car, even for a short amount of time! Your car heats up fast and even with your ac running, it can die and leave your car getting too warm for your dogs. If you see animals being left out for too long or in cars, you can contact the HPD and have them do a welfare check.

As the temperatures rise, our pets can feel it even more that we do. So it's important to take the necessary precautions to keep our furry friends safe!

🌡️ Never leave pets in a parked car
💧 Keep fresh water accessible at all times
🌅 Limit exercise to early morning or evening hours
🔥 Remember: if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them

I had the pleasure of watching maxamillion this past week! He is a gentle giant and was nervous about being away from his family. It took a few days for him to settle down,but he finally did and man that sure beats being at a kennel. I also put his bangs in a pony so I could see his eyes lol
