Where Comfort and Community Meet Christmas Magic

We were honored to be part of the Santa’s Stars preview at the Festival of Trees—an experience created for children and guests who benefit from a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. With dimmed lights and softer music, the space becomes more comfortable and accessible for everyone to enjoy the magic.

Legacy Therapy Dogs Sully, Jack, Karl, Mo, Benjamin, Murphy, and Oliver all joined us—though only Sully, Jack, and Karl made it into the photos. (The others were far too busy spreading joy to pause for a camera moment!)

Even in a sensory-friendly setting, new environments can feel overwhelming for some guests. That’s where our dogs shine. Their steady presence, soft snuggles, and gentle encouragement offered a sense of comfort and reassurance as visitors explored the beautifully decorated trees.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to support inclusion, comfort, and community—one wagging tail at a time.

Bringing comfort to workplaces is what we love most, and our monthly visit to the Amazon distribution center is no exception.
Legacy Therapy Dogs Sully, Mo, Jack, Chase, Benjamin, Pepper, Karl, Piper, Rocky, and Daisy Mae were all there spreading calm, connection, and a whole lot of joy.

These monthly visits give employees a chance to take a breath, slow down, and enjoy a few quiet minutes with our dogs. Petting a therapy dog can lower stress levels, ease muscle tension, and help people reset in the middle of a fast-paced work environment — and it’s always amazing to watch the energy in the room shift.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the Amazon team and bring a little comfort to their day each month.

We had the honor of visiting Alwood Elementary as students prepared for their Veterans Day celebrations. Our Executive Director, Angie, talked with the kids about how our therapy dogs support the community — especially the important ways they bring comfort, connection, and calm to our veterans.

Legacy Therapy Dogs Sully, Mo, Jack, and Benjamin offered the students a chance to slow down, take a breath, and experience the calming benefits of petting a therapy dog. Gentle interactions like these can help reduce stress, boost mood, and create a sense of safety — all while giving students a memorable hands-on lesson in empathy and kindness.

We’re grateful for the chance to help teach the next generation about kindness, service, and the healing power of dogs.

New year, new habits — for you and your dog.

Our January 6th Basic Training class is the perfect way to start the year with better manners, better focus, and a stronger bond.

We teach essential everyday skills: sit, down, polite greetings, loose-leash walking, coming when called, and staying focused around distractions.

We also strengthen your dog’s temperament and tolerance, meaning they learn to maintain their commands in almost any situation — even when the world around them gets busy.

For puppies under a year:
You can add the AKC STAR Puppy program, which helps reinforce early manners, confidence, and social skills — plus your puppy earns official AKC recognition after completion.

📅 Start Date: January 6th
⏱ Schedule: Every Tuesday night at 6pm for 6 weeks
💲 Price: $150 with $50 due upfront to reserve your spot
