We’re a little late, but our appreciation is right on time!
While Veterinary Assistant week was a couple weeks ago, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible veterinary assistants who work tirelessly to care for our patients and support our team every day. From helping nervous pets feel comfortable to assisting with treatments, procedures, and everything in between, their compassion, patience, and dedication make a difference in the lives of countless animals and their families.

Patient Success Story!
Meet Tillie, a 12 year old Chihuahua mix who has had ongoing limping and pain in her left front leg for a few years. Anti-inflammatories, steroid injections, and various other pain management and arthritis treatments had little success in treating her pain. Luckily for Tillie, we recently started offering PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatments. PRP involves drawing the patient's blood, spinning it in a specialized centrifuge, and injecting the resulting platelet rich plasma into the affected joint. This, along with cold laser therapy, promotes healing and cell growth. Following her treatment, Tillie has had notable improvement in her pain and limping.
If your pet struggles with mobility issues, orthopedic injuries, or arthritis, be sure to ask your vet if PRP is right for them!

December 24-Closing early at 1pm
December 25-Closed
December 31-Normal Hours
January 1-Closed
Pet Emergency Center and Sentinel Veterinary Specialists & Emergency are both open all through the holidays and able to help when we are not!
