Oh boy, it's cheat grass season. These little seeds can embed in our pets' eyes, throat, ear canals, and between their toes, as well as other places. Once embedded they are super painful and usually need to be removed with sedation. After hikes or walks, check your pets for seeds that may be between their toes or lying on their coat. Some things to watch for include sneezing, head shaking or pawing at ears, licking at paws, eye discharge and squinting. If you're noticing any of these signs, we should take a look!
