Cat dynamics are fascinating. When Cotton passed, Tucker and ZaZu became a little antagonistic to each other. They are just now starting to snuggle n sleep near each other.

Montana State University will host an interdisciplinary symposium Oct. 1-2 to explore the possibilities and challenges of artificial intelligence for human knowledge.
“The Future of AI” conference, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Institute on Artificial Intelligence at MSU, will be held on campus. Attendance includes lunch and an evening reception on Thursday, and a light breakfast and coffee on Friday. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Peter Rabbit says stay inside and stay safe! Three feral domestic rabbits have tested positive for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease 2 (RHDV2) in the Billings area. Peter Rabbit talked to Dr. Shoni Card and she said don't panic-just avoid handling wild or feral domestic rabbits. ❤

Three feral domestic rabbits have tested positive for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease 2 (RHDV2). The rabbits were part of a population from Rocky Mountain College in Billings.

🦠RHDV2 is highly contagious and often fatal for wild and domestic hares, rabbits and pikas.
🦠RHDV2 is NOT known to infect humans or other animals.
🦠The virus is shed in bodily fluids like urine, and it can also exist in the environment for up to 15 weeks.

Although RHDV2 is not known to infect humans, rabbits may die of other diseases that can infect people. People should properly dispose of rabbit carcasses found within Yellowstone County by following these precautions:
✅Wear disposable gloves
✅Double or triple bag the carcass
✅If possible, spray outside of bag with disinfectant
✅Place bagged carcass and gloves in dumpster that will go to landfill
✅Wash hands

🐰If you own domestic rabbits, use extreme caution. Follow the above steps for biosecurity, prevent contact with wild and feral rabbits, and consult your vet with additional questions.
