There is nothing more rewarding than seeing our small furry friends leave the shelter and begin their new lives with loving families. Watching them grow, play, and finally get adopted makes all the hard work worthwhile. 🐱💕

Our very own Mr. Handsome has finally found his forever home! ❤️

Mr. Handsome had been patiently waiting at the shelter since December 29, 2025, hoping for someone to give him the loving family he deserved. After months of waiting, that day has finally come, and we couldn't be happier for him! 🏡🐶

This sweet boy now has the opportunity to enjoy the life he's always deserved—filled with love, comfort, and happiness. Thank you to his amazing adopter for giving Mr. Handsome a second chance and a place to call home. ❤️

We know everyone who supported and cared about Handsome along the way, especially Vellichor Books and More, will be thrilled to hear this wonderful news!

🎉🐱 Wonderful news! Today, little Calliope found her forever home! 🏡❤️

We are so happy to share that this sweet kitten was adopted by an amazing family. Calliope has officially traded shelter life for a loving home filled with cuddles, comfort, and new adventures.

💔 Today, we found four tiny puppies abandoned at the cemetery. We don't know how long they had been out there alone, scared, and vulnerable, but thankfully they are now safe in our care.

It is heartbreaking to see animals left behind like this. These puppies are incredibly sweet—when we approached them, they immediately ran up to us looking for comfort and affection. Despite what they've been through, they are full of love.

We are asking our community for help. We are in need of puppy food donations to help care for these little ones. They will be receiving vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and deworming treatment to ensure they get the healthy start they deserve.

If you would like to donate puppy food or help in any way, please contact the Mission Animal Shelter. Every donation makes a difference and helps us give these puppies the care and love they need. 🐾❤️

🎉🐾 We Have Great News! 🐾🎉

Today we hosted adoption events at both Tractor Supply Co in Pharr and Tractor Supply Co in Mission, and we're excited to share that we had 4 adoptions total! ❤️🏡

We want to thank everyone who stopped by to meet our furry friends, visited our shelter, and supported our adoption events. Every adoption means one more pet gets a second chance at a loving forever home.

A special thank you to the staff at both Tractor Supply stores for welcoming us and helping us showcase our wonderful pets. Together, we're making a difference in the lives of animals in our community. 🐾💕
