Meet Davis! 🖤

Davis is a handsome 2-year-old Lab mix who has come such a long way since arriving at the shelter. He came to us as a shy boy, but with the help of his best friend and kennel mate, Ladybird, Davis has really started to come out of his shell. 🥹❤️

Now, this goofy boy is ready to show everyone who he really is! He loves to play, make new friends, and show off his silly, playful personality. Watching his confidence grow has been so rewarding—and we know there’s an amazing family out there who will love getting to know the happy dog he’s becoming.

Davis does well with his kennel mate and would love a chance to continue growing and thriving outside of the shelter.

💙🐾 SPOTLIGHT WEDNESDAY: Meet Jimmy! 🐾💙

Some dogs are just happiest when they’re playing, cuddling, and waiting for a snack—and that’s our boy Jimmy! 🥹💙

Jimmy is an approximately 4-year-old Lab mix with a sweet personality and just the right amount of puppy energy. He’s a well-mannered boy who absolutely loves people, enjoys playing with his friends, and has discovered that the pool is one of the BEST parts of shelter life! 💦🐶

He also walks well on leash and does well with other dogs. Jimmy is ready for someone who will appreciate his goofy, playful side while giving him all the love and cuddles he’s been waiting for. ❤️

She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash, but she’s making great progress every day. With her playful spirit and loving personality, Hannah is ready to find someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she deserves. 🥰

🎉🐾 GREAT NEWS — MICROCHIPS WORK! 🐾🎉

Today, someone called to report a found dog, and our Animal Welfare team went out to pick up the pup. As part of our process, we scanned the dog for a microchip — and we got a hit! 💙

We discovered that the dog had been microchipped in San Antonio! We contacted the information associated with the chip, and thankfully, we were able to locate the family and reunite this sweet pup with them! 🏡🐶❤️

Stories like this are exactly why microchipping your pets is so important. A tiny chip can make a HUGE difference when a pet goes missing — even when they end up far from where they were originally microchipped.

Meet Chito! 🐾💦

If there’s water involved, Chito is ready to party! 😂 This silly, sweet boy is approximately 1 year old and absolutely LOVES water, playtime, and making new friends.

Chito is playful, affectionate, and great with other dogs. He has a kennel buddy and loves attention from his people. But his favorite thing? Water! Turn on the hose and he’ll be first in line for the fun. 💦❤️

Chito has been waiting since March 2026 for someone to give him the chance he deserves. He’d love a family who will keep his goofy personality and love of adventure alive!

This handsome Shepherd mix is approximately 1 year old and ready to find someone to share his next adventure with. 🥰

Chuy is a sweet, friendly, adventurous boy who loves getting out for walks and exploring the world around him. He’s currently sharing a kennel with Maurice, and the two have done great together—but they don’t need to be adopted together. Chuy is ready to find his own forever person, too!

He’s got plenty of adventures left to discover, and all he needs is someone willing to take that first step with him. 🐾
