🌞 Keep Your Pets Safe in the Summer Heat! 🐶🐱

With extreme temperatures on the rise, it’s important to protect our furry friends from heat-related dangers. Here are a few simple but crucial tips to keep your pets safe:

🚫 Never leave pets in a parked car — even with windows cracked. Temps can soar in minutes.
💧 Keep them hydrated — always provide fresh, cool water.
🏡 Limit outdoor time — walk early in the morning or after sunset.
🌳 Provide shade — pets need a cool, shaded area if they’re outside.
🔥 Paw check! — if the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.

Heatstroke can be life-threatening. Watch for signs like heavy panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting — and contact us immediately if you’re concerned.

☀️🐶 Heat Stroke in Dogs Is Preventable – Keep Your Pup Safe This Summer! 🐾💧

As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat stroke in our furry friends. Dogs can’t cool off like we do, and even a short time in the heat can be dangerous.

🚨 Signs of Heat Stroke in Dogs:
• Excessive panting or drooling
• Lethargy or confusion
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Bright red gums
• Collapse or unresponsiveness

✅ How to Prevent It:
• Provide plenty of fresh water at all times
• Avoid outdoor play during peak heat hours (10 AM – 4 PM)
• Never leave your dog in a parked car – even for a minute!
• Create shady spots for outdoor dogs
• Use cooling mats, fans, or even dog-safe kiddie pools

Your dog depends on you to stay cool and safe. If you think your dog is overheating, contact us immediately – it could save their life.
