This is one of the worst myths that has led to problems with dewormer resistance. Current research says you should only deworm goats that are being negatively affected by worms, such as poor FAMACHA score (4 or 5), poor body condition, diarrhea, or bottle jaw. The more you use a dewormer, the more dewormer-resistant worms you are breeding.

Tuesday Training Tip - Placing adolescent (~8-18 month old) dogs in pens for 2-3 weeks with mature rams or billies will help teach submissive behavior and usually correct misbehavior without human interaction. Do not place a dog in a pen with overly aggressive mature male livestock.
