To all our Dog Parents. We have been exposed to Kennel Cough.
Kennel cough is a respiratory infection in dogs, it's just like a cold for us, and we want to be transparent with everyone.
Again, it is important that all dogs, including boarding, daycare grooming pups, have the Bordetella vaccine up to date.
Now that we have been exposed, please wait at least 10 days before taking your pups to another facility to ensure that they have not picked it up.
We also can't ask this enough of our parents, if you have been to another kennel or socialized with another pup, to wait 10 days before coming to our facility to stop strains of this cold from comming into our facility.
If your dog is showing symptoms of Kennel cough (coughing, runny nose) please keep them home for at least 72 hours after the last symptom.
This is to help stop the spread of this cold to all pups.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Brooke! 🌟

We’re so excited to welcome Brooke, one of our newest groomers, to the team — and she’s now accepting new clients!
Brooke is an animal lover through and through — with a household that includes dogs, ducks, and chickens, and a special place in her heart for English Setters. She's also a proud mom (to both animals and humans)!

🐾 Why grooming? After working as a CNA, Brooke decided to follow her passion because, in her words:
“Animals are better than people!”
And we have to admit... we kinda agree! 😉

Her favorite part of the job?
All the doggy snuggles, of course! 🐶💕

When she’s not pampering pups, Brooke keeps busy with:

🎣 Fishing (including ice fishing!)

👧 braiding hair like a pro
🥾 Hiking adventures out west

Say hello to Kylie! 🐾✨ One of the newest members of the Muddy Pawz Lodge family, Kylie brings so much heart, positivity, and attention to detail to everything she does — and we’re so lucky to have her on our team! 💛

Grooming has been a natural calling for Kylie. Growing up, she dreamed of being a vet, but found that grooming gave her the perfect mix of joy and purpose — helping pets stay happy, healthy, and looking their best. 🐶✂️

Outside of work, you’ll find Kylie enjoying time with her adorable mini long-haired dachshund, Lucky 🐕❤️, or soaking up the beauty of the lakes — often with a fishing pole in hand. 🎣🌲

She’s now accepting new grooming clients and is excited to welcome your pups with lots of love and care. We’re thrilled to have her on the team — and we know you will be too! 💬🐾
