The first week of November will be my first tester week back by myself. There will only be three small dog appointments each day or one small and one large dog. 7am, 8am, and 9am are the times available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week.

Just a quick update on my health since a few clients have called and asked how I’m doing. We have the start of answers for what has been going on and last week they started me on medicine that is helping me tremendously. If it keeps going this way I should be able to start coming back to work in november doing a few grooms a day and slowly working back up to full days or however many my limit is. I really appreciate clients being understanding during this time and look forward to seeing all clients I’ve missed this past month soon.

I am providing a brief update. Firstly, I would like to assure our clients that the shop will remain open and all holiday appointments will proceed as scheduled. However, due to unforeseen neurological complications, I will be taking a temporary leave of absence from grooming duties. These complications have rendered me unable to drive and have increased my fall risk. Currently, my medical team and I are actively seeking a diagnosis and resolution. I kindly request that clients direct all inquiries regarding appointments to the shop phone at 850-983-0003. Joanne will be assuming my responsibilities and responding to calls during business hours or at her earliest convenience outside of business hours. As Joanne re-integrates, some appointment schedules may be adjusted to accommodate her booking availability. Many of our clients are already familiar with Joanne, having worked alongside me for the past five years. I appreciate your understanding and patience during this period. Next week, I will be undergoing further testing and consultations, which I anticipate will provide me some answers. My priority at present is to focus on my health, ensuring I can continue to support my family and resume my duties as soon as possible. - Daisy

I just wanted to let clients know that unfortunately I am having to cancel all the appointments for the rest of the week. As some of my clients know Joanne was covering for me the last week and a half due to the new horse we brought in bringing a contagious respiratory illness that spread to all my horses which one required constant care and watch. During this time, I was feeling quite bad, but assumed it was just the exhaustion with all that was going on. Unfortunately, it was my body trying to tell me it had a bad infection and I didn’t realize it until I ended up needing medical care this morning. I have already contacted everyone for tomorrow and will be getting ahold of all clients for Friday and Saturday. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this will cause but I promise I will get all clients who are being rescheduled back on the books without an extensive wait time. I will be bringing the shop phone home with me to answer calls and texts as they come through during this time. Thankyou for understanding.

I just wanted to let clients know that I will be extending my hours back to full time starting in October for the rest of the year and will on average will be
7am-5pm Monday
7am-3pm Tuesday
Closed Wednesday
7am-5pm Thursday
7am-5pm Friday
Depending on how busy the holidays get I will consider opening Wednesdays in November and December to make sure every client who needs to get groomed has the chance.

The shop is closed today. I’m currently at a homeschool event with my children that was prescheduled. No appointments were booked for today since this was planned and I will return missed calls this evening. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
