Almost anyone who has talked to me about dogs or dog training has heard my dislike for the word "socialization" as it relates to dogs. Here is a good video explaining why I do not use the term, and what I use the term Environmental Training or Environmental Exposure.

Serius Black went home on Friday after spending 4 weeks with us training. He has improved in many ways including being less reactive to people, and not wanting to jump and nip. This was only the first step in his journey, now we start follow up sessions to help his owners learn how to build a healthy relationship with him at home.
