Marshall is one of the smartest goobers here at the Sanctuary. He’s lived at the sanctuary for four years and in all that time has never lost his light. He makes everyone around him smile! He is always down to play or up for a good belly rub and despite his size makes an excellent snuggle buddy. He will be easy to house train because he loves treats and learns quickly.
Come meet our big marshmallow Marshall at Lone Star Sanctuary, 1-4:30 any day but Thursdays!

This sweet guy is Dougal. He is a 5 year old Boston terrier mix who can be a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. He gets along with other dogs and older kids. He does like to go on walks and loves to run in the yard. If you would like to meet Dougal, come out any day except Thursday from 1 pm to 4:30 pm to meet him! #midland #midlandtx

Uma is a 13 year old (almost 14) Bloodhound who was brought back to us almost 6 years ago because she was attacking the other dogs in the house. She also was having seizures. After taking her in she was put on meds for her seizure and they are under control.
In her younger years, she loved to play fetch and wash her ball in her water bucket or pool. She also encountered a rattlesnake a couple times. Since being back, she has developed arthritis (it happens to the best of us) in her legs as well as a fungal infection. She is on several meds a day but is still a fiesty old gal who wants to play and does not understand why she can't.
We of course are looking for someone to adopt Uma so she can live out her last days in a home but we will also be willing to let her go to a foster home with no other pets.
If you are interesting in adopting or fostering this sweet lady, come out any day except Thursdays from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.

Sweet Sampson is about as shy as they come. But it’s understandable because he’s been through a lot of heartbreak. This loving and gentle lil boy has been with us since he was a young pup and immediately bonded with Faith, a massive Saint Bernard. They were inseparable. But Faith got older and eventually crossed the rainbow bridge and little Sampson has had to figure out life without her. He still plays with our other dogs and will sometimes go on walks but he really needs someone to be his companion. He would do great in a home with older kids, a confident dog to show him the ropes, or just with a human who is good at tug of war and butt scritches. There’s nothing better than when his face starts to stretch into a happy little smile!!
Come meet your new best buddy Sampson at Lone Star Sanctuary in Midland 1-4:30 every day but Thursdays 🐾💜 #midlandtx #odessa
