We understand that many pet owners have been affected by the recent unexpected closure of a local veterinary clinic. We know how stressful and uncertain this situation can be when you're trying to ensure your pet continues to receive the care they need.

Our team is working hard to accommodate as many new patients as possible while continuing to provide quality care to our existing clients. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate an increased demand for appointments.

If your pet requires ongoing treatment, medication refills, vaccinations, or medical attention, please contact our clinic. We will do our best to assist you and help make the transition as smooth as possible.

☀️ Summer fun is here! 🐾
Long walks, lake days, backyard BBQs, and sunshine are even better with our furry family members — but warmer weather can also bring some hidden dangers for pets.

Here are a few summer safety reminders to keep your pets happy and healthy:

🔥 Watch for heat stroke
Pets can overheat quickly, especially brachycephalic breeds, seniors, and overweight pets. Signs include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. Always provide shade and fresh water, and avoid outdoor activity during peak heat hours.

🐾 Protect those paws
Hot asphalt and sidewalks can burn paw pads in seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! Try early morning or evening walks instead.

🦟 Stay on flea & tick prevention
Summer means parasites are thriving. Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes can spread serious diseases, so keep your pet protected year-round with veterinarian-recommended prevention.

💧 Hydration is key
Bring water on walks and outings, and make sure pets always have access to cool, clean drinking water.

🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car
Even with windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can become deadly within minutes.

🇺🇸 In observance of Memorial Day, our clinic will be closed today and will resume normal business hours Tuesday May 26th.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are grateful for their service and dedication. ❤️🤍💙

We hope you and your pets have a safe and peaceful holiday weekend. If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

Somehow, in the blink of an eye, we went from first steps and bedtime stories to caps, gowns, and graduation ceremonies. ❤️

This year our hearts are overflowing as we celebrate:
🎓 2 kindergarten graduates learning to spread their wings
🎓 1 high school graduate ready to take on the world
🎓 1 college graduate beginning the next chapter of life

It feels like yesterday we were packing little backpacks, wiping tears on the first day of school, helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, and praying through every challenge and milestone along the way.

To see all four of you reach these moments at the same time is something truly special. We are so proud not only of what you’ve accomplished, but of the kind, strong, and loving people you’ve become.

No matter how grown you get, you will always be our babies. ❤️

🐾💕 There’s nothing better than puppy snuggles and helping little ones get started on a healthy life. Axel came in this week for her puppy vaccinations — an important step in protecting her as she grows, explores, and meets new furry friends! 🐶✨

Puppy vaccines help protect against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases like:
• Parvovirus
• Distemper
• Adenovirus
• Rabies

Because puppies have developing immune systems, they need a series of vaccines over several visits to build strong protection. Staying on schedule helps keep your puppy safe and healthy during those critical early months. 🩺💉

Vaccinations don’t just protect your pet — they also help protect other pets in our community. Prevention is always easier (and safer) than treatment!

Axel was such a brave girl today, and we can’t wait to watch her grow through her puppy visits! 💖🐾

Even our indoor kitties should be up to date on all vaccines! Dobby the Sphynx was in for some boostering, getting his final FVRCP and 1st FeLV vaccine. Dobby already got His Rabies vaccine, but he'll come for his final booster then he's fully protected!

Did you know that Midland Animal Services has this great program! Be sure to visit anyday the shelter is open and take a dog out for a day out of the shelter! 💗

Midland Animal Services’ Doggy Day Out program is off to an incredible start, reporting a 94% positive outcome rate in just two months! 🐾🎉

The program gives residents the chance to spend time with a shelter dog while also helping staff learn more about each animal’s personality, behavior, and preferences outside the shelter environment.
So far, 14 out of 15 participating dogs have experienced a positive outcome through adoption, rescue, or foster placement!
