Burgers on the grill, sunshine, and long weekends... Memorial Day is officially here! 🍔☀️🇺🇸

While you’re out enjoying the long weekend, we want to wish everyone in our MAC community a happy and peaceful holiday. Because we always want to keep your pets healthy from the inside out, here are a few quick tips to ensure your weekend is entirely stress-free:

🍔 Watch the Scraps: Keep bones, onions, and fatty grill scraps out of reach.

Beat the Heat: Make sure your sun-seekers have plenty of shade and fresh water.

🎆 Safe Spaces: If loud noises or local fireworks start up, give your pet a quiet, safe room inside to relax.

🗓️ Friendly Reminder: Our clinic will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25th so our hard-working team can spend time with their families. We’ll be back in the office and ready to see our awesome paw-tients on Tuesday morning! If you experience a pet emergency on Monday, please reach out to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

Spring is nearly here, but before you start your landscaping, make sure your garden is a safe haven for your furry friends. Many seasonal favorites like Lilies, Azaleas, and Sago Palms are actually toxic if your pet decides to take a "taste test." Michiana Animal Rehab is expanding and needed the room (storage and drive thru window previously) to serve more painful pets. We apologize for any convenience this may bring.
