A family of dog trainers helping family dogs by providing lessons at your place, in public, & camp training at our home.

We build a foundation in a family setting, educate your family, and teach confidence in public. Hi folks, my name is Caleb Frisbee and I’ve been training dogs my whole life and K9 Perceptions has been apart my life since 2009. We’ve went through some changes since then with facilities, employees, and mind-sets, gaining knowledge along the way. It’s 2021 now and K9 Perceptions is a family business with a family of dog trainers. My wife Katie and daughters Layla and Hallie make up the whole crew. My biggest take away from experience since the start is dog training is personal. You have to get to know the dog to train it. Our main goal is of course to achieve your goals but to do so in a very personal way allowing you and your family to enjoy your dog more than you ever imagined. Our dedication to your dog is what sets us apart. Our process is based on learning theory. With experience of working 1000s of dogs from obedience to working dogs and handling even the most complex behavioral problems throughout the country we are more than capable of helping you and your dog. We can build a stronger bond between dogs and their families because we are a family going through it just like you but the only difference we have a life time of experience doing it. When your dog runs into a behavioral issue, we know it can be overwhelming, but we are confident after you speak to us your worries will subside. Message us to set up your free initial consultation. After the consult at minimum you’ll walk away with a little more insight than you had before.

Meet Tank! 🖤
Future service dog candidate for a veteran!

Tank is our newest service dog candidate, and we are so excited about his potential. He’s an incredibly sweet boy, and I’m already a little jealous because I’ve wanted a black German Shepherd for years! 😂

We’re still getting to know Tank and evaluating what type of service work he may be best suited for, whether that’s mobility assistance, PTSD support, or another area.

As we move forward with his training, we’re also looking at ways to help cover the costs associated with preparing him for this important job.

We are considering a “Fundraiser for Tank” to help with his training and related expenses. This would be through K9 Perceptions, rather than our nonprofit, Faith & Valor K9, which is still working toward being ready to accept donations.

Regardless of whether we hold a formal fundraiser, Tank’s training is moving forward. We’re simply looking for ways our community can help support him along the way.

If you’d be willing to support Tank with even a small amount, comment “Fundraiser for Tank!” below so we know there is interest. ❤️

And if you know a veteran who may eventually be a good match for Tank, we’d love to hear from you as we continue getting to know him and determine what he’s best suited for.
