Sparrow still needs a home!! Ecollar trained! Sparrow got to go on a walk yesterday evening around the neighborhood! He was much much better on leash than when he first came to us. He tried so hard to keep 4 on the floor but still gets excited from time to time but is easily redirected, started on a place command as well! Ideally he would do best in an active home or with another energetic playmate. Let’s find this guy a home!! 🏡 🖤

We want to jump on here and thank everyone for their support of our small business! Dogs are 24/7, 365 days a year 🤍🐾 During summer it is our busy season as many families are traveling but we are also trying to enjoy our families and summer in the evenings. It is BEST if you text or message our page as multiple people monitor that. It is a tad easier for us to return a text between tasks than stop the entire day for multiple 15+ minute phone calls and I am always happy to setup a scheduled phone call. Calling the shop phone 2-3 times back to back is not going to get an answer from us sooner. Dogs in our care and responsiveness to those families messages are first priority. Our days are spent outside with the pups, cleaning, making sure our girls get their much deserved breaks and being attentive to the pups in our care. We promise we will get back with you and your needs met as soon as humanly possible! ☀️ Sincerely, a very blessed small business owner.

Let’s chat about structured boarding and daycare!

What we will not do is advocate for boarding and daycares that are a free for all. Meaning dogs bark all day long, no routine, never asked to relax in a group setting and bully each other in play groups.

I often get asked “how much play time? How much group play?” While i totally understand we don’t want dogs in their kennels for 16 to 20 hours a day. We still need to remember that when dogs are at home they are not continuously stimulated for 16+ hours a day. They take frequent naps, they’re crated during the workday while you’re gone. Nothing good could possibly come from that many hours of continuous stimulation! Puppies should be sleeping 15-20 hours a day and adult dogs 12-14 hours per day! 🙀 We rotate out groups & individuals here with scheduled rest periods and enrichment time such as frozen kongs, bully sticks, lick mats etc.

Here we require the dogs to reciprocate the same play, roam the yard with avoidance/co existing or be an individual! Not all dogs fall into the category of “social” and that’s OKAY! Trusting someone who can read body language, advocate for your dog and be honest with you is huge!! Play time is great in the right setting! 🐶

Two dogs under a year old here just relaxing in the play yard. They’ve ran some together, enjoyed a game of chase but have both settled very nicely together. 🙌🏼lt is possible!
