Today is Maddy’s last day….again! Maddy first joined our team in 2022 and left last year for her first year of vet school at WSU. She came back to work with us for the summer, and her help was invaluable. Now she will embark in her second year; one step closer to veterinarian!

Last week, we said a bittersweet “see you later” to one of our most valued team members—Carolyn.

Since joining us in August 2021, Carolyn has been a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking part of our clinic team. Her kindness and commitment have left a lasting impression on both our staff and our patients, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Carolyn is off to begin her first year of veterinary school at WSU, and we couldn’t be more proud. We know she’s headed for incredible things. Thank you, Carolyn, for everything you’ve brought to our clinic—you’ll always have a place here, and we can’t wait to cheer you on every step of the way!

Zizou stopped by for a visit and wowed us with all his tricks! He definitely knows how to win our hearts—and find the treat bag! 🐾 Thanks to the dedication of his mom, Zizou is working towards maintaining a healthy weight, so we kept the treats in moderation. Our Story

Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital (MSVH)l is a mixed-animal practice located in Mead, WA, north of Spokane off of the Newport Highway. There are 3 veterinarians available at MSVH: Dr. Jocelyn Woodd- Owner, Dr. Cathy Ratcliff- Associate, and Dr. Brett Setser-Associate. All of the veterinarians and staff at MSVH are trained and experienced with a wide variety of species including: dogs, cats, cattle, horses, goats, sheep, swine, camelids, wildlife, and exotics. Available at MSVH are small and large animal surgery suites, anesthesia, digital radiography, endoscopy, in-house lab for bloodwork, diagnostic ultrasound, urinalysis, f***l flotation, and cytology, kennels, indoor and outdoor stalls, multiple outdoor pens for horses and cattle, a squeeze chute, and wildlife enclosures.
