🚨 Help Protect the Future of Ingham County 4-H! 🚨

The future of Ingham County 4-H and MSU Extension is at risk due to proposed county budget cuts. The current plan doesn’t fund even one full-time position β€” which could mean the end of 4-H programming in our county.

We need YOU to speak up and show up to help save this vital program for our youth and community!

About those "courtesy turns"....
Purpose is to line up dogs so they move straight away from judge as soon as possible so they see as best rear movement as possible. However that works best for you and your dog! As long as it's quick and smooth!

Some good notes to apply for showmanship

Whether you set the front first or teach the dog to anchor their rear feet and step forward with the front, it is critical that the front legs come straight down under the dog's chest. Stacking the legs too far back or the dog stepping too far forward can cause the dog to "post" which ruins the whole outline of the dog.
