Showmanship 101

Our 6 step cheat sheet for perfect hand stacks:

1. Front legs positioned properly. The front legs should be placed directly under the dog creating a straight line down.

2. The rear legs are positioned so that the hock is perpendicular to the ground.

3. The proper distance between the front legs and back legs. Placing the rear legs too far back will cause the dog to "post" or rack back causing an a-frame shape.

4. The correct position and height of the headpiece.

5. Correct position of the tail.

6. The weight distribution of the dog towards the front giving the "up over the front" look.
