Today was the Heart of Michigan show and WOW! What a show it was!

Elizabeth took BOB and BOSB White Crested.

Lisa took BOB American and RESERVE IN SHOW with a Golden Solid - a baby born from a chocolate sow and one of Elizabeth’s GS boars. So it’s a win for us both! I also won BOB Silkie with a beautiful pig from Preston Marten.

Chuck took BOB and BOS in both shows for Satins with a chin doe (she has gorgeous fur!) and a red buck.

Thanks to all the wonderful judges for recognizing these animals 🧡 Congratulations to Kris and Beth for their wins on the cavy table too.

Today was the Just for Fun Rabbit & Cavy Club show in Coldwater. It was a bittersweet day - today all three of us showed and it was the very last show of Elizabeth showing in youth. What a way to go out with a bang!

This weekend was bittersweet. It was the annual MSRBA spring convention and it was Elizabeth’s last convention as a youth. She ages out on May 11 - the day she turns 19.

It was a good weekend with Elizabeth winning Best In Show with her silver solid sow under Kelly Hansen and Best Opposite of Breed with a silver solid under Andrew Miles. Plus, her sweepstakes awards at the banquet for 2nd overall youth cavies and 1st in Americans.

Chuck received VERY positive comments about his babies - they were twelve weeks old and taking first in class! He brought home a couple more Best Red and Best Opposite Red awards too ❤️
