When a child is inside an unattended vehicle, their temperature can rise quickly, and the situation can become dangerous.

No parent or caregiver thinks this can happen to them, but dozens of children each year are either left behind in a vehicle or become trapped inside.

This little Doberman girl has more skill in her tiny toe beans than most humans!

Smart, driven, eager to learn, and always ready for the next challenge. Watching her put the pieces together and grow in confidence has been so much fun. The future is bright for this talented girl!

Next week she will finish up her AKC STAR Puppy classes and will be moving up to BIG GIRL level!

Meet Buddy! Buddy joined us for his Training Retreat last Friday, and we’re excited to have him here! This handsome doodle has some big paw prints to follow. His sister completed a her Training Retreat with us about a year ago, and now it’s Buddy’s turn to match her wavelength!! Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be building confidence, polishing obedience, and helping Buddy become the best version of himself!

Everyone welcome Jude! 🐾

Jude joined us on Tuesday for his Training Retreat, and we are excited to have him here! His mom’s goals are to strengthen his basic obedience and really tackle those leash manners. So far, Jude has been an absolute blast to work with. He’s energetic, eager to please, loves people, and is always ready for whatever comes next.

We can’t wait to show you his progress over the next few weeks! 😍

Rip is officially home!! For the last 2½ weeks, Rip has been hanging out with us polishing up his obedience and learning how to be the best version of himself. From puppy classes to now, it’s been awesome getting to work with this big guy again. The best part of any training isn’t what happens while they’re with us, it’s what happens when they go home. Rip’s mom and dad now have the tools, structure, and communication to continue building on everything he’s learned. We are super proud of this handsome guy and excited to watch him keep crushing it at home ✨

Some simple confidence-building activities include:

* Walking across different surfaces (gravel, grass, tarps, playground equipment)
* Exploring new environments
* Climbing over safe obstacles
* Learning new skills and tricks
* Food puzzles and enrichment games
* Meeting new people in a positive way
* Exposure to everyday sounds and objects

The key is to let the puppy choose to investigate rather than forcing them into situations they’re unsure about. Every time they successfully navigate something new, they build confidence in themselves.
