Those aren’t just ticks… they’re well-fed ticks! 😳🕷️

These ticks have likely been attached for several days, feeding on your dog’s blood. While one tick may not seem like a big deal, ticks can transmit serious diseases such as Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Heavy infestations can even cause anemia, especially in puppies or small dogs.

The good news? Tick prevention works! Keeping your pet on a year-round flea and tick preventive helps kill ticks before they have a chance to transmit disease, protecting both your pet and your family. Remember—ticks don’t just live in the woods. They can be found in backyards, parks, and even your own neighborhood.

…but then you discover that humans give the best chin scratches, the warmest cuddles, and suddenly you’re making biscuits like you’ve been doing it your whole life. 🥹💕

This little one came in with a reputation, but it didn’t take long before the purring started and those “don’t touch me” days became “please don’t stop petting me.” ❤️

We think this sweet baby has officially decided that the indoor life isn’t so bad after all!
