Microchips can be a lifesaver when it comes to bringing lost pets home 🐕‍🦺

Today is Check the Chip Day, created by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) to remind pet owners to:
✔️ Microchip your pet if they don’t have one yet
✔️ Register the chip right away with your current info
✔️ Have your veterinarian scan it at each yearly checkup
✔️ Review and update the info every year

Don't forget, a microchip can be added to your custom Care Plan. Ask your veterinarian for more information. Microchipping is quick, easy, and could make all the difference if you ever get separated from your pet!

If you're a baseball fan, you might recognize our newest Heart + Paw teammate: Tugger! He stopped by Heart + Paw King of Prussia this week and he knocked it out of the park ⚾️

Tugger is part of , a nonprofit that helps recovering Service Members and Veterans reconnect with their families, communities, and each other through the healing power of canine companionship.

Tugger received a wellness check and vaccine boosters with Dr. Ortiz. He might be rookie of the year, but he's already an MVP in our book 🏟️ 💚

This Saturday, we celebrated our Heart + Paw Greensburg Grand Reopening and it was a blast! We’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by and took part in the fun. From prizes to hospital tours, it was a day to remember. Plus, having the Pittsburgh Pirate Parrot join the celebration made it even more special 🎊
A huge thank you to our incredible Greensburg team, who poured so much care and dedication into this event, just like they do for pets and pet parents every day. Their community is lucky to have them 💚

Asia is a passionate groomer who is excited to join the Heart + Paw Marlton team. Whether it’s a simple bath and brush or a complete makeover, she looks forward to helping your pet both look and feel good while in her care. Building a positive experience at the groomers is her main goal.

Asia first joined the pet industry in 2014 as a bather at a corporate salon. Through that experience, she was given the opportunity to grow her career and continue working with animals by becoming a grooming student. Since then, she has worked in both corporate and private salons, learning from as many different groomers as she can.

She has one senior dog named Cookie, a cocker spaniel mix. Cookie has been with her since the beginning of her grooming career and is her heart dog. Asia looks forward to meeting you and yours!

Hi! My name is Devin (you can call me Dev, too!), and I’ve been grooming for over three years. I absolutely LOVE my job—making your pets look and feel their best. Some of my favorite breeds to groom are Aussies, Goldens, and Dachshunds, but I truly enjoy creating fun and creative styles for any breed.

I will always treat your pets as if they’re my own, make sure they look super cute, and, most importantly, ensure they’re comfortable during and after their groom. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your dogs! When I’m not at work, I’m usually hanging out with my senior pup, Lenore. We like to kayak, hike, camp, fetch, swim, etc. together. She’s my shadow and my best friend!

Yesterday, the Marlton Center was honored to present our Summer Safety + Pet First Aid Event to our clients and guests.

Dr. Jared Pitt and Dr. Katie Higgins discussed essential safety topics such as addressing a pet's reaction to insect stings, preventing and providing aid for pets suffering from heat stroke, and performing pet CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

Our team at the Marlton Center is committed to educating our community and bonding with those who love pets. Stay tuned for future events and presentations!
